The Bolton Technical 10 dB Low-PIM coupler (also known as a tap) is an extremely low loss, high quality coupler designed for multiple indoor antenna runs.

PIM stands for Passive Intermodulation and is measured in dBs (decibels). PIM is defined as the unwanted signal or signals generated by the non-linear mixing of 2 or more frequencies. High PIM means poor cellular reception and limited bandwidth to the end user, which in turn means lost customers to the carrier. Low PIM means strong signals with more bandwidth for more users - in other words, better signal and lower loss across your coupler, providing increased performance.

A 10 dB coupler is the middle of the road coupler, with low loss at both the connection and passthrough.

This allows two indoor antennas to be used with a single amplifier, with the ability to focus more signal to a specific area. They allow for longer cable runs down hallways and across rooms. A 10 dB coupler is a good coupler for both connection point and passthrough.
