It's water-resistant when closed.
No. The PSU Mini can keep you connected with one SIM card. However, two SIM cards from different carriers are recommended for those constantly on the go. If you're out of range from one network, the router will automatically switch to the second network, ensuring constant connectivity.
The only monthly fee associated with the PSU Mini is the data plan needed to keep it connected.
