The Bolton Technical Outdoor Board 75 Ohm is designed for building cellular signal boosters such as the Bolton Technical Victory. It’s Low-PIM wide-band antenna designed for outdoor use. The Outdoor Board 75 Ohm boosts gain at the point of entry by up to 8 dBi.
PIM stands for Passive Intermodulation, quantified in dBs (decibels). It refers to the undesired signals resulting from the nonlinear combination of two or more frequencies. Elevated PIM levels show bad cell reception and restricted bandwidth leading to dropped calls, signal loss, and other issues.
The Outdoor Board panel draws in signal, at a 45-degree angle. It is best used in areas with a few towers that it can home in on. It is more powerful than an omni-directional antenna, but not as powerful as a Yagi. You can mount the Outdoor Board on a pole or a wall outdoors, pointing in the general direction of the nearest cellular towers. This antenna is relatively easy to install as you don’t have to be too specific with where it points.
The Bolton 75 Ohm outdoor antenna is designed to work with 75 Ohm signal booster systems like the Bolton Victory. It is designed for fixed building installations outside a home, office, or commercial space.
